Beautyologie: The First Fair Trade Online Beauty Store!

Beautyologie: The First Fair Trade Online Beauty Store!

This post is sponsored by Beautyologie. All opinions are my own and reflect my honest thoughts on these fair trade beauty products.

Nontoxic, eco-friendly beauty products have become easier to find over the years. However, it isn’t always easy to find beauty products that are made ethically using fair trade practices. Personally, I want the products I buy to be good for the earth AND the people who made them! I am so excited to share that I have found an online beauty marketplace, Beautyologie, that features fair trade and ethically formulated beauty products that are also made with high quality natural ingredients! AND, they are actually giving away a $100 gift card to a Fairly Southern follower and offering 20% off to readers with code FS20 at checkout – keep reading to learn how you can enter to win the gift card!

About Beautyologie

Beautyologie is truly a pioneer in the beauty industry. This is the first online beauty store to exclusively offer ethically made beauty products. It is SO nice to know you can select literally any product from their store without having to do any research about the ethics, sustainability, or toxicity of the ingredients, because Beautyologie has already taken care of that for you!

Beautyologie recently sent me a collection of their products to try. I am very impressed with the quality as well the thoughtfulness they put into selecting products that are produced using fair trade principals. From luxurious face oils handcrafted by Peruvian artisans to deodorants made by Mayan farmers using traditional crop cultivation practices, Beautyologie puts humanity at the forefront of the often toxic and dehumanizing beauty industry.

My Favorite Fair Trade Beauty Products from Beautyologie

My favorite product that I’ve tried from the Beautyologie store is probably the Rich Shea Body Cream by Shea Yeleen. I am always in need of a deeply nourishing moisturizer for my hands and legs! Between having seasonally dry skin and then all the hand washing that comes with a global pandemic, my skin needs some daily TLC. This body cream is very moisturizing without feeling heavy or oily, and it smells heavenly! Shea Yeleen’s products are made in Ghana by women earning a living wage (5x the minimum wage!) and are 100% chemical free.

I also love the Tranquility Facial Oil by True Moringa. If you want to turn a regular day into a spa experience, this is the oil for you! The scent is truly delightful and soothing, and the oil is lightweight which I love for my oily face. I also really like the rollerball applicator, which prevents you from accidentally dumping a bunch on your hands and wasting unnecessary product! True Moringa ethically sources antioxidant-rich moringa oil from smallholder farmers in Ghana. This product is organic, vegan, and gluten-free.

Oh, and you know I love that Beautyologie carries 700 Rivers products. Remember when I interviewed 700 Rivers’ founder, Cathy Gomes, right here on Fairly Southern? Their organic, all natural soaps are made by Bangladeshi artisans who have escaped human trafficking and are now guaranteed fair wages and a safe work environment. I highly recommend their Coconut Lavender scented soap because it smells like an expensive spa….and frankly, who doesn’t want to walk into their bathroom and feel like they’ve walked into an expensive spa??

  1. I love that platforms like Beautyologie are making a significant impact in paving the way for ethical, natural self care products. I have been following them for almost 4 months now and the product I most want to try next is Aroha Oils Rani Serum

  2. I am most likely to try Tranquility Facial Oil by True Moringa. I take a tincture of Moringa every morning and love it!!
