Y’all, it is almost officially SPRING!! The air is a tad warmer, it’s staying light longer, and flowers are starting to bloom. It has given me such a mood boost, and I have found myself drawn to fresh, light clothing that matches the approaching season!
Last weekend, I had the opportunity to take my mom to The Flourish Market for the first time. It was fun to show her a place that means so much to me! She purchased a fabulous knotted top, and I took home this bell-sleeved beauty.
I wasn’t sure how I was going to like the bell sleeve trend on myself, but the verdict is that I love it!! I feel so festive wearing this shirt. The bell sleeves scream “party” to me. I also love the slim cut, which allows me to easily tuck the shirt into some high rise jeans.
This shirt is perfect for early spring because hello, baby pink! It’s also a good lightweight long-sleeve option for while the weather is still a touch cool–not sweater weather, but not tank top weather, either.
My bell sleeve top is ethically made in the USA, and the rest of my outfit falls in the ethical/eco-friendly fashion category as well! My cream and gold “Dipped Ribbon” necklace from Thirty One Bits was ethically made in Uganda from recycled paper, my Hudson “Barbara” jeans are from Fifi’s Consignment, and my navy Rothy’s flats are made from recycled water bottles (they’re also machine washable!).
What colors and/or fashion trends are y’all loving for spring??
