In case anyone has been living under a rock and hasn’t noticed, it has been exceptionally cold so far this winter. The temperature has frequently been in the teens and 20s the past couple of weeks here in North Carolina, and this thin-skinned Southerner can only take so much, y’all. Until winter finally high tails it out of here, dressing warmly is essential!
Enter this gorgeous mosaic Grace & Lace blanket scarf, which my in-laws purchased for me from The Flourish Market for Christmas. It has been saving my life these past couple of weeks! Not only is it exceptionally warm and stylish, it’s also ethically made, and a portion of the proceeds help to fund orphanages in India and a safe house in Nepal. Winning!
I love pieces that can be worn with both black and brown, and this scarf contains both colors. And, it can be styled so many ways! I especially like that it has a toggle that allows it to be worn as a poncho (pictured). I have also wrapped it around my neck and worn it as a regular scarf. Additionally, The Flourish Market suggests using it as a blanket, shawl, and nursing cover.
On a side note, I also want to point out my brown, vegan “leather” boots, which I purchased second-hand on Poshmark. Cruelty-free, eco-friendly, and light on the wallet! Poshmark is a great way to shop ethically while on a budget.
I’ll close this post out with a cute little photo bomber who showed up during the shoot. Fair warning: Cold puppies may want to come cuddle with you when you’re wearing this cozy poncho.
